A+K balance flowmeter has a wide measuring range, but the lower limit of transmitter measurement limits the accuracy of flow measurement. A+K balance flowmeter is equipped with two differential pressure (multi-parameter) transmitters of different range. The differential pressure/flow relay method is used to measure the flow of large range ratio. A+K balance flowmeter can be realized by means of multi-pipe switching metering skid system for the measurement of ultra-wide range specific flow. Then combined with the pressure signal and temperature signal, the flow calculation and a variety of compensation calculation in the system, and finally the flow measurement of high precision wide range ratio can be realized.
The measurement signals of large range transmitter and small range transmitter are introduced into DCS system respectively, and the switch between large range and small range is realized through the upper computer programming to complete the flow monitoring and accumulation. Automatic switching can use the upper limit current value of the small range transmitter as the judgment condition: for example, the measurement signal of A and B transmitters is respectively introduced into the DCS system, and the output flow value is displayed at the same point C in the DCS system. With the input signal of small range transmitter B as the switching point, when the input signal of small range transmitter B is detected > 19.8mA, switch to large range transmitter A, and display the measured flow of large range transmitter A at point C, small range transmitter B flow indication shield; When the input signal of small range transmitter B is detected ≤19.8mA, switch to small range transmitter B, display the measured flow of small range transmitter B at point C, and large range transmitter A flow indication shield.
Single flowmeter can not complete the task of ultra-wide range ratio measurement, so it can be realized by using the measurement scheme of ultra-wide range ratio multi-pipe switching metering skid system. The scheme adopts the principle of switching measurement of multiple pipelines to realize the measurement of large pipelines at large flow rate and small pipelines at small flow rate.
The metering skid is connected with the field pipe by flange, and all the measurement, switching and control are completed on the metering skid. The main road and the design pipeline using the same caliber, and according to the design flow range, in turn in the metering pry is configured with 2~4 measuring pipelines, each pipeline is configured with an integrated A+K balance flowmeter and cut-off valve, flowmeter for the measurement of each pipeline flow, according to the flow size to control the cut-off valve switch to choose which pipeline to work. The whole measurement process is controlled and switched manually/automatically, and the flow data and valve status are sent to the user.
